AKTU (Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University), formerly known as UPTU (Uttar Pradesh Technical University), is a renowned public collegiate university in Uttar Pradesh, the largest state of India. Established by the Government of Uttar Pradesh in 2000, the University aims to promote technical education within the state.
